Anyone still using Mobil 1 oil after new formulation?
It's said that its not good to go from synthetic back to conventional oil from what I've heard. Now since Mobil 1 is no longer a full synthetic, will the issue above be relevant? Anyone still sticking to Mobil 1 and the new Tri-synthetic and if not, what brand have you switched to?
or wait, I think the new one is the SuperSyn formula. I just heard from people that its not fully synthetic anymore like the castrol. Can anyone here confirm that? I'm not too familiar with it.

i ran the tri-synthetic since new, and also heard mixed reviews about the super-sync, i've been using it and car runs the same but who knows...
synth...best stuff to ever use on your car...don't use those regular oil...because it leaves deposits..that eventually wears out your motor...once you use synth don't switch back...change the oil every 7500 if you daily drive...every 5000 hard driven miles...

I used Mobil1 for about the first 25K miles I had my car. I can't get it as cheap as I used to anymore, so I just switched to Valvoline Max Life 10w30. The only reason I switched is cost. And I change the oil every 3K miles so I don't think there will be any problems w/ deposits.

and after some time the synthetic oil will break down..of course...
i wouldn't leave that stuff in there past 4k...especially since i drive hard...
and not every synth or conventional oil is the same.
