I just bought some skunk2 stage 1 tuner series cams since i don't have that aggressive of an engine build yet and i was wondering if i should maybe throw a 68mm throttle body on it just to get rid of the stock one maybe for a little better breathing for the cams since I have a skunk2 intake manifold as well?

you would get better throttle response...but a tune is always better

 

yep gotta an ecu comin and when they all get put on gonna have it tuned any other suggestions?

 

You are better off investing in a good header and exhaust before changing the throttle body.

Tuning is the best mod you can do to your car, but once u change something it needs to be retuned.

 

i've got a dc 4-1 ss header and skunk2 test pipe with skunk2 catback exhaust

 

its a great combo just have the intake manifold port matched to the 68mm tb and you will be golden.

 

65mm would be a better choice. 68 would be too big for an untuned pretty much stock engine
