d16z6 del sol auto to manual swap
You will need...
-5 speed transmission. obviously
. any D series should fit.-Shift linkages. From any SOHC delsol.
-Shifter. Obviously.
-ECU. From a 5 speed for a d16z6. Others may work, altho specific to d16z6 would be best.
-Pedal assembly.
-Hydraulic clutch line assembly. I'm pretty possitive all delsols are hydro trannys.
Also, i really want to add harness to this list but I herd somewhere it doesn't make a difference.
also you need the rear L bracket and mount. and the top tranny mount. now the top tranny mount on a 5 spd tranny will not fit into the bracket on the frame so you will have to gt the hasport auto->manual top tranny mount which has the offset in it.
one of the most important things that were not mentioned:
master cylinder
slave cylinder
Clutch, P/P and flywheel
new flywheel bolts (the auto ones are diff then the manual ones)
new inspection plate (not really mandatory)
new starter
in the hydraulic line assembly, one of the most important parts is a coupler that connects the left side of the hydraulic line assembly to the right side (left side = master cylinder to coupler, right side is coupler to slave cylinder)
new shift boot (this is just for looks)
