97 Civic Misfire
I have a 97 Civic with a Y7 block and a Y8 head. When I first start up the car, it idles fine but when I give it gas you can hear a misfire. When I'm cruiseing down the road and I barley give it any gas, it will run fine. But when I give it just alittle more gas, it will miss like crazy. The CEL will flash but as soon I as back off the gas, it will run fine but the CEL stay on. The only code Im gettin is for a misfire in cyl 2. I changed the plugs, wires, car rotor and I even tried the injector. It feels like im running out of gas but its only happening in one cyl. Any ideas?

would that cause it to happen only under load? After I've been drivin for awhile and I stop, it will misfire at idle then correctitself, run smooth, then miss again, and it will keep doing that until I take off again.
I finally found out what it was. It was the gap on my plugs. I regapped my plug and it stopped the misfire, i then regapped all the other ones and now the car feels like it has alot more power. Something simple as a plug gap made my car run like crap.
