Hey, well I just got my car on the road from when it was stolen and now I am having transmission problems.

it seems like the shift fork was bent while the salvageyard was moving the car on a fork lift. Now I can't get reverse due to the salvage yard or the thieves blew up reverse. Every other gear works great just a little bit of trouble getting it into gear.

So now should i take the tranny to a specialist to see if he can fix it or should I just ditch the tranny all together, and get something to go better with the turbo?

Can't you just get a new shift fork?

 

that would be the best cacenario, but I didn't know what the availability of parts for the YS1 tranny is.

 

Don't ditch it...LSD is an expensive option.
