Default f22 head on a h23 block

just wondering since from what i have researched the f22 head out flows the h22 in certain if not all aspects. im more of a non vtec fan myself and im just wondering if i can swap my h23 head for a f22 head. i would do a h22 head swap but for the price i would rather do a swap. plus my h23 is very healthy with low miles.

So which F22 head would you be referring to? F22 SOHC? F22 SOHC VTEC? F22 DOHC? F22 DOHC VTEC?

F22A with a mild port will flow as much as an H22 head with similar mods.

Cam selection makes it all work though.

I second Hawkze's questions. Specificity is your friend.

i just want to know if it would be better to boost my h23 as is or swap a f22a non vtec head which will flow better than a h23 head for now and boost later.

Neither. Leave your H23 alone and build a full F22A1 for boost. No down time or wasted money buying things twice
