What is the power handle rating at for 06 type S for the motor and tranny.
and how hard can i push the K20 in the 06 type S with a SC before needing seriouse rebuidling

save your parents money and leave the car stock.

You could actually try searching to find the answer you're looking for.

check out clubrsx.com they have some good sections for forced induction. go there.

Very trueful and good advice. I hqve heard stock internls can handle a good amount of power and abuse thou. Somwhere around the 350 whp mark. Depends on ur setup thou. Def check out clubrsx.

how about the tranny? whats safe for that . i gheard stock motor can do 500

haha you heard wrong! It will be able to do maybe one run with that amount of power in stock form!

well not exactly my parents money seeing how iam 23 and war veteran........ and p.s. i only had have evo and sti before this on on the 4G63 and EJ257 they both handle 500AWHP to 550awhp no problems i prove and tested on both with 550awhp on the subie. except tranny needed dog-box and a new clutch

Theres a guy here in Tampa making a little over 400hp on stock block.Its in a Eg hatch though so maby a lighter car makes the motor have less of a strain cause its lasted awhile.

with stock internals and a supercharger you'll hit around the 300whp marker and be just fine. You wont have any worries

k20z1rsx, if you want good info on your car go to clubrsx.com. you'll learn that k20's make very good gain with very little effort. visit the turbo threads at clubrsx, majority of them are making 400hp+ on stock block.
