I've got a d series on my 97 civic what would be the best swap? as far as difficulty to power ratios

dont even put parts into it, just a backyard turbo setup with a tune. like i said in the other thread. 800 dollars wont go far. and he probably doesnt have the knowledge to do a changeover with wiring for a b swap

if its an 97 EX u can get grs n it would be easier.. grs obd2A motor.. the newer one will be some converting problem bc i ran into some.. the harness should be fine.. u will need 99-00 SI mounts forsure tho

i can do the wiring, no problem. i know a little but it's all what i've learned on my own and this forum and my haynes

gsr more potentiel then b16 IMO.. just dont get any OBD1 motor or u will be buying lots of parts left to right.. get obd2 motors n everything should be more simple from there

Where did it say his budget is 800? if you guys are suggesting a B swap that's going to be at least 2k. Doesn't make much sense?

gsr, but you'll need a budget of 1800-2000 on the low end.
