Back seat base, or back seat back?

The seat back is only held in place with the pivot. One side goes in, than the other, than you stuff a plastic clip on the bar the seat pivots on to keep it in place.

The seat base is held in place with some clips at the front, and a single bolt at the back. Pull the whole thing, get the front clips in place, then set the back down and install bolt.

Remove the back. Fully remove the base. Get the front clips in place first, then set the back down. If it requires pressure to get the wire attached to the seat flat against the floor (the one the bolt goes through), the front tabs aren't lined up right, so remove and try again.

Took me 3 tries before I got the front in place correctly enough for the back to sit flat. Damn thieves popped the front clips out without removing the bolt lifting my rear seat looking for the fuel pump kill that wasn't there...

Make sure your clips are lined up then apply a lot of pressure to get them in. I had to put a good amount of my body weight into popping them back into place.

The little J hooks are a little tricky, but once you get them to line up, it pretty much just slips into place.
