Heyy guy's im new to the forum and I decided that it would be best if I posted in here first. Im looking to hop into a first gen s2k. The price is good for me between 5-10k i know I can get it at.

Is there any advice you can give? anything I need to know about the first gen S2K? I plan on replacing the headgasket and turboing it, I heard I needed to replace some bolts. Is this true? Well thanks for you're time.

yeah the s2000's stock turbo is pretty good already, all you need is to lower the compression with that gasket and put those head bolts on for when it revs to 9k. make sure you get titanium valvesprings and retainers too while you're in there. after that you should be right around 380whp with a good VAFC and FPR

 

the AP2 valve springs and retainers are also a good upgrade...
