Default H&R OE vs. ITR springs

is the drop rate almost the same for a 2000 ls. i know the OE drops 1.25 in the front and 1" in the rear? is that almost the same for the ITR spring or is it more like 1" for the front and .75" for the rear? thanks

droping cars is almost like an addiction. when you drop, you'll want to drop even lowwer. think about that for a moment.

But anyways...im not sure if the drop are equal.

its not an addiction unless you have coilovers or dont mind bottoming out wherever you go. i have h&r sports on right now with the OEM body kit and putting a 50 series tire on within the week and its goin to be too low. i dont feel like forking over 300 for coilovers so i want to raise the car

btw, coilovers aren't so that u can raise or lower your car on a whim. It's so u can corner weigh it properly once...and leave it there. No reason to mess with the height anymore.

seems like he's mostly worried about bottoming out.

you can get ground controls with custom spring rates...
not to mention those are eibach springs too
the spring rates on the OE H & R's are supposed to be the same as the Sports
springs that i have..but i forget the rate.
i've only bottomed out on the freeway where there were ridiculous bumps and
holes in the road. when my stock shocks were blown...before i got my koni's..
i bottomed out a tad every now and then. blown shocks SUCKS.

itr springs lower approx. 3/4". my car looks a bit lower but the improved performance plus OEM quality is great.

The ITR springs lower the car by about .5" and OE sports report about .75", but by the time they settle it's more like 1". The OE sports are slightly stiffer than ITR. Before H&R decided to stop giving out the numbers, the info I got was 260 lbs/in front (linear) and rear 180-200 lb/in progressive rate. Not sure the exact rate for the ITR, but between 242 to 250 front.

Not me. I prefer a nice suttle look to a dropped car. If its too low, it looks shitty to me. My car has the OEM sideskirts and Type R front lip, with H&R OE Springs and Bilstein shocks on my 94 LS integra. Its about a 1.25" drop once its settled completely.
