So I'm 98% completed swapping a d16z6 into a CX hatch, so I decided to do a crank test/start test. I primed the fuel system, but I couldn't hear the fuel pump. I cranked it a couple of times and it wouldn't start so I primed it a couple times again. No start again. I cracked open the nut on top of the fuel filter, went inside to prime and no fuel. So wtf? What could it be? All the wiring on the shock tower is connected, but I can't figure out why. ECU related? I use to have an alarm, and there was this wire that was connected to the distributor but I cut it so assuming any fuel pump lock out is disabled.
the wire to the distributor could have been your tach signal if you had a remote start. I would start by checking fuses, and making sure all your grounds are secure.
