94 gsr not running correctly

Hi I have a 94 gsr i put a stroker kit in it port and polished head new valves titaninium springs and retainers. When i put it back together it wouldn't idle on it's own had to have foot on the gas after messing with timing and distribiator still no change feed up with it that day i left came back few weeks later turned key and it started without giving it gas and idleing fine at 2k after it was warm it droped to 1k than few min after down to 500 still running but boging any ideas?

Also it has been sitting for almost year and a half i have heard of gas going bad could it be a issue ? should i drain and put clean gas in?
