Possible to short out the under dash relay box?
So i was tinkering around earlier today. and now my tail lights, dash, climate, and sidemarkers will not go on. However, they do flash when I press my alarm button. I checked the fuse and it's good. So I took out the combination switch plug, which is where the tail lights, dash, climate, and sidemarkers are powered by. and much to my dismay the lowest left wire shows sign of being burnt (the area around it melted!) there is also a little burn on the relay box. so I'm assuming it's either the wire or the relay box. So this is where my question is. Is it possible for a relay box to be burned out? If no then at least i've ruled out one option.. thanks for the help ht!

it's been a while, but just in case someone else runs into this problem and searches..
Replaced the harness from the fusebox to the combination light switch, the wire that activates the tail lights, sidemarkers, interior lights were burned out. Made sure the 15 amp fuse was good, but also the fuse under the hood. I cannot recall the name but I replaced that too and voila. done. end. bye. good night.
