Default Need Pic of White DB8 w/ Carbon Trunk and Type R Spoiler

As the topic states I am looking for a picture of a white DB8 with a carbon trunk and a Type R spoiler. I have been searching for a while now and can't find anything. I got rear ended last week and I am trying to decide if I should just repair it back to stock or go carbon. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

U cant put a that big of a wing on a CF Trunk lid. It'd either rip out of the cf or flex the lid to the point where the gel coat would crack.

Good call. I didn't think of that. What if I added some extra bracing? Anybody have any expierence with this subject?

extra bracing would defeat the point of the carbon trunk's lesser weight.
go ahead and do it though, you'd be the first one ever and on Honda Tech that makes you a GOD.

Theyve put wiings on cf trunk lids on show car before but nvr cars that will be driven. You would have to reinforce the whole trunk lid. if youre going for the CF trunk look but arnt really in it for the weight savings id suggest to just have your oem trunk lid wraped in CF itll give you the look and youll still be able to put a wing on it. Just an idea

I think i am going to try it and see what happens. I am going to try some aluminum bracing where the spoiler bolts on to the trunk and then some long strand fiberglass reinforment over that and in a few other key places. I will throw some pics up when I am done.

Like painting your roof black or wrapping it in CF? Because you know, everyone wasn't jocking that **** when the fad of a black roof came out.
