oil pan help!!
my friend and i did an oil change on his s2000 like a month ago... so he went to to get another oil change at honda and they told him that we tightened the drain bolt to tight that it stripped the thread on the oil pan.. can we just get a slightly bigger bolt and screw it in to create a new thread so it can stop leaking oil??

if you are going this route - i would suggest removing the oil pan completely before doing this, so you don't get any metal shavings on the oil.
but if it was my car i would most likely get a new pan - just for piece of mind.
good luck
Just replace the pan. They go for about 100 shipped used all day long. I've had to replace mine, it's fairly easy. One thing to note, remove the pan with lower ac bracket sill attached to it. (You will know what I am talking about when you get to that point. lol)
