New Shocks and Springs Install
I bought a set of KYG GR-2s and eibach pro-kits for my 88 crx dx. The car has like 295000 miles on it and I know the suspension is not anywhere near stock. Is there anything I should look out for to make sure my install goes smoothly? Is there anything else I need to buy besides the shocks and springs like bushings or something?
get a can of PB blaster and soak all the bolts a few times and that will make it a lot easier to get them out. good luck hopefully none of the bolts break on you like they did on mine.
X a million. soak, for a week. PB it everyday, drive it everyday. then hopefully the bolt wont be seized up(lower rear control arm bolt) and break on you when you go to remove.
First thing I thought was the rusted bolts too! Just make sure you have the tools necessary and hopefully you won't run into any rusted/warped/stripped bolts.
