I'm using a PC925. I mounted it in the trunk when I installed the tony1 catch can in the factory battery tray. I bought a tray that was made specificly for the PC925 but there are other options out there.

Any small battery that you only occationally use, or don't drive more than 30 miles per 'startup', will require maintanence. Moreso if you idle it more for warmup. My mom drives her car 2 miles to work, and needs a charge every month.

Not a 2.2L, but I had a PC625 on my old CRX with a 10.6:1 D16. Still works fine a year later and has never needed a charge (my brother owns the car now). He drives about 45 miles each way to work though so it never sees short runs.

I worked at a stereo shop where we sold these batteries for our years and during that time boosted an h22 in an EG the odyssey battery did well through about the first winter being in the engine bay. If you live in an area of extreme cold its not good for that application. if you're able to locate it to the rear of the car it would help a lot but they don't do that well with extreme temperature changes that you can see in an engine bay, this came directly from an odyssey rep not sure of his name its been a couple of years

maybe u have a charging system problem. its a drycell battery i think, havent looked tbh. all you need is for it to turn the engine over and be capable of takin a charge of 12.7v. dont see why the battery drains for any reason

Its a V6 Ford Ranger, and charging a 500+ amp battery takes more than the 2-3 minutes it takes for her to get to work. In other words, starting takes more energy out than gets put back in. Lead-acid batteries historicly do not like tons of short trips.
