oil light problems
i was searching through the forum and couldn't find any thing that was close to what I'm experiencing.a couple of months ago my oil light went on after i reved my engine.since that day it has never flashed or went of or any thing its just there. i changed the oil like twice and still nothing (filter too) any way i just wanted some ideas as to what the problem might be. i own a 98 bb6 and its automatic.

Easiest solution would be to swap in a known good oil pressure switch and see if the oil pressure idiot light goes off. If not, you have serious issues (the oil pressure switch makes the light come on at 7.5PSI, which is VERY low).
The best solution would be to use a real oil pressure gauge and see what the actual pressure it. That'll tell you if it's in spec or not.
