i just got some new projector headlights w/halo (bmw style) and i need to know how to remove the stock headlights so i can put the new ones on. Help plz.

 

pull the front bumper off.

 

ohh thats it just pull it off huh, sounds easy. what happens after that, where are the bolts located for the headlights. And what are the park lights.

 

Do The SEARCH!

 

get the bumper off and you ll see from4-6 screws on the little black holders around the lights.. its easy to get the lights out. the bumper sucks

oh and parking lights are your corners.. next to the headlights.. those just have a little screw in the corner

 

get a Haynes manual from Autozone or someplace. I just put JDM headlights on my car last month. I followed every step and it didn't take too long at all. The bumper is actually really easy to take off.

hey i looked at those links. i really dont see what your saying.. i cant seem to get my bumper off even with the helms. dooop i just stupid i guess. i took a crap load of bolts off from the lip underneath.. but its still on there?

 

You do have to be a little forceful when removing the bumper. pull outwards. sorry, if i was there, i could be more help. i'd like to be in florida.

 

sorry..but the lip is totally unnecessary to remove the lip while removing the whole bumper. do a search under bumper removal or headlight removal. i learned from one of the few.

hey ok me and my friend attempted to do it yesterday but we only got half finished
we had a problem getting the new ones in.
We figured out how to take of the bumper cover. but how do u take off the bumper itself? that part keep getting hung up on the headlight not allowing us to slide the mounts on top of the headlight under the frame where the mount.

 

there are two screws under each head lights holding the bumper....

try loosening the frame and get under there to get the screws off....... its a pain in the *** the first time i took mine off.....

 

To get the headlights off you don't need to take the bumper all the way off, just loosen in enough so you can pull it down about an inch to get to the bolts underneath each headlight enclosure.
