airbag lights

my friend has a 05 civic coupe ex. he removed the seat and when e put it back in he said the airbag light is on and wont come off. he plug the wires back in. why isn't the light turning off?

first off this is for 92-00 civic not 05...

Like ^he^ said, im sure someone in the right fourm could answer this. Newer cars need to have it erased at the dealer i think.
