temp guage has been working fine until today. i drove my car 20 miles and as i was driving i noticed the temp needle was still on cold. when i parked my car idled as if i just started it reving between 1000k and 2000k like it was cold. i checked the wire that goes to the head and it was still connected. any thoughts. it was 55 degrees outside.

 

had this problem last week its the thermostat, i took mine out and it was weak you could easily push it open.


my symptoms were the same took awhile to warm up and on freeway it went straight open

thermostat is stuck open

 

good looking out grant. i will change it out and see what happens.
