You got a cluttered *** bench!!

Different looking style v-band on those LS1 headers, those clamping straight to the turbo's or to another flange?

f-body

and yes my bench is cluttered because everyone and their mamma in the shop likes to do metal fab and use the only vise in the shop when im welding

i had one of my employees make traction bars while i was out and he didnt clean up the mess.

ill be gone from the shop for a day and come back to more messes.

looks great!

can i get your honest opinion on those collectors your using for the lsi headers vs regular 4-1 merge collectors? Also do the ones you use come pre-pinched in between the runners like that or is tha something you did before taking that picture?

the regular collectors are easier to get full length runners also in the tight engine bay of the ls1 i have to use the regular collectors

using the merge collectors would be too difficult for the tight confines of the ls1. i nearly shot myslef in the head trying to use true merge collectors.

and when you say the pre-pinched are you referring to the stamped collectors ? if so yes they come that way . but i pinch it a little more after i weld much of it to lessen the gaps if possible

hhmmm, we have got some that are a bit pinched, but for the money usually just end up getting the ones that are basically a perfect square with rounded corners and then do the pinching ourselves. these collectors definately have their ups and downs.

haha it sounds like they are an up thing for you in this chassis
