would it be better to have an ls tranny with a b16 turbo or should i just keep my b16 tranny on it wouldnt the longer gears be better for boost?

LS tranny on a b16 = bad idea, boost or not. Get another b16 trans.
and this whole misnomer of 'longer gears are better for boost' is bullshit.

I thought we were talking about trannys? And if that is the case, we have been over this, it's not a LS if it's JDM or Australian.
There was the Type R, the SiR-g, and some 4wd model.
the australian motor and the jdm motor have the same specs thats y i said jdm

its a stolen USDM motor, vin tag removed. its in Florida, i can guarantee its a hottie.
my buddy had the same problem with his boosted b16 and he swapped the ls tranny and it made a big difference. it seemed like the ls tranny was good for top speed but the b16 tranny was good for acceleration. it just depends on what you want do you want a track car or a highway car.
ya i swapped b16 gears out for ls cause my b16 2nd was mangled, interstate its nice but thats bout it really i guess if you wanted good highway 5th swap 5th out of the b16 for and ls one.....

yea i would do that if my b16 tranny wasnt grindin like a bitch so im prolly just gonna get the ls tranny for now and get a b16 tranny later on or just fully rebuild mine
If you said longer gears are better for boost, I hope you die on the day of your daughters wedding.

A b16 will suck period. It's a b16 that's why, it's god awful and even worse with long gears. It will always be worse.
