Asking questions like "what motor do you guys think I should use" means you have a long way to go before you have a honda drag car.

I would recommend asking yourself a few questions. Is this your ONLY car? How much money do you have to sink into it realistcally. Where do you want to race it at? How fast do you want to go? are you looking to do all motor, turbo, nos?

Then don't be in a hurry to spend your money.

Think about the big picture. See what's out there. Do it right the first time.

If it is just a toy car build a single cam turbo. Do some eagle rods and vitara pistons, a little head work and a 57 trim t3, 3" exhaust, and an lsd trans. You can get into low 11's high 10's for so much less money than a turbo B. Just my 2 cents

Good point. If he wants a streetable car, it's cheaper. You don't need big HP in a car like that, you can't get traction on the street anyway's.

D16z6, the y8's have oiling issues but would be fine after you do a simple oil pump mod. check out sites like turbod16.com and d-series.org great sites. You'll find some of us over at those sites too.

Someone on here has made some pretty impressive numbers with a z6.
