purchase a ef its a dx model...ac and everything...only second owner....clean title...clean body and interior...i dont to much for a ef but for 800 bucks i dont think i can pass it up...

now for a quick question:

i have a 2000 d16y8 that i want to swap into it but everyone telling me that its gonna be to hard wiring etc etc that i would be better off with a ls or b20? true? anyone want to trade a full ls or b20 swap for a complete d16y8

 

easy swap, bolts in, you will have to do a mpfi to dpfi conversion, obd0-obd1 jumper and a p28, then your set.

with the other b swaps you will need mounts, same amount of wiring but you will also need axles, shift linkage etc.

 

so the d16 should be an easy swap? what about the 4speed gearbox?

 

the dx is 4 speed?? pick up a si trans from a 88-91 and it will bolt up to the y8

 

Check out the FAQ lots of good info int here. It isn't that hard of a swap and has been done thousands of time. Try a google search too. You'll find info there too.
