Default Civic ef d16y8 swap

I've been doing research on this but I'm finding mixed answers, I'm planning on doing a d16y8 swap into a civic ef hatch. I was wondering if it would bolt right in to the car and stock transmission, also what would I need for electronics such as the computer and conversions? Would I need to convert it to obd1 and mpfi?
Also, would it be easier and more cost effective to use a d16z6? Is the z6 more reliable?
