I bought a 97 ek hatch about 8 months ago and am now lookin to some upgrades. I was wondering if it is worth boosting the stock single cam? Or should I be looking more along the lines of an engine swap? What would be easier?

 

Im not a big fan of boost i like na cars, buuuut if your motor is in good condition boost will be the cheapest bang for your buck and it will hold good up to 10psi DD it all in the tuning bro.....but if moneys no object maybe is going something more like B16 for more power plus realiability .....or you could go my favorite and get B20z Vtec.....up to you

 

well with a name like sohcekboost I think your stuck with the sohc ;P anyway both can make power depends on money and what kind of power you want.
