Its a 1997 Honda Civic EX. Has an 99-00 front end conversion, got the fog lights just need to be installed, also have the Civic Type-R fender lights that need to be installed, 99-00 tail lights, Black housing headlights but want to get Civic Type-R headlights, Si interior seats, Si rims but trading for SSK 053's, Going to get Si Cluster, center console, and grill soon. Kind of new to Honda but I know the basics,

bring it on man...keep it comin. I had those wheels when i first got my car. I painted them Gloss Black and left the lip polished. Looked pretty good. Have come A LONG way since then. Looks good, seems like your on the same route i was....check her out....

Man your Civic is lookin really good. I'm goin for the same color soon. Your rims also look nice. Are those carbon rear view mirros or black. If carbon where did you get them cuz i cant find any that looks almost the same as the stock ones.

 

Looks like a nice car man, but just to let you know its not an si bumper or si tail lights all 99-00 civic's came with that bumper and tails.

ohhhh no.....this is year 2 of havin it...when i got it the paint was HORRIBLE, really dry needed alot of TLC. had to do mucho work to bring it back before re-paint in June '08. but i hear you, i saw some 75 year old lady driving a EG, MINT. and i mean MINT. no honda rust at all, interior looked mint from my view. Gotta find someone like that and offer her cash right there. my buddy did that, worked out pretty good!

That's not just a '99-'00 front bumper, it's the full front end conversion. Hood, bumper, headlights, grille, fenders. Don't want you to get confused while buying parts.

It's okay, but it really belongs in the Appearance/Cosmetic section.

If you want to try to pass it (exterior-wise) as a '99-'00, swap the rear bumper for a '99-'00 coupe/sedan rear bumper. They're slightly different at the bottom. Or cover the bottom with a lip.

That and next time you're in for paint see if your painter can matte black your "brake ducts" and lower grille on the front bumper. The matte black from the new Charger works well as a match.

To clear up what parts you have a bit more, all '99-'00 Civic coupes and hatches in the US (besides the Si) has that front grille. The front ends are otherwise the same on all US '99-'00 coupes, hatches and sedans.

The taillights came on all '99-'00 US coupes (they're incredibly similar overseas too).
Imo your car would look a lot better with a proper front lip instead of a '99-'00 CTR Style front lip made for a '96-'98. Otherwise it's not bad.

or just spray the brake ducts spraypaint style. it will loook just as good if you take your time.
