98 Civic clutch issue
I had my clutch replaced because it would go down the highway fine but if you give it gas to pass or when it starts to bog down on hills the clutch would start slipping. I went with an Exedy OEM clutch and had the flywheel resurfaced as well. When the guy that put it in took out the old one, the disk didnt look bad like it should be slipping. BUT even with the new clutch it still does it. I replaced the slave cylinder tonite and it STILL does it. I have bled the system real well, so now I am lost. Should I go ahead and replace teh master cylinder or could it be 2 bad pressure plates. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Did you happen to check or change the main while the clutch was out? Iv seen it leak just a little and find its way on the clutch/fly wheel surface and silppy poo.
That doesn't sound good at all..... Only thing i can think of off the top of my head is that your rear main oil seal is bad and is leaking oil onto your flywheel cause it to slip. but then again the guy who changed out the clutch i would hope would had told you thid before installing everything together. if i think of anything else ill post back up on here.
