Has anyone put this SS set-up on their Si and if so, was it worth the price and how
did it affect your driving?

Short throw shifters are pretty useless.

The transmission determines how fast you can shift, not the shifter. You can already shift faster than the transmission will allow with the stock shifter. It's not going to make your car any faster; it's only going to change the shift feel.

I don't recommend short shifters because they decrease the spacing between gates, making it easier to misshift if you aren't deliberate.

They also give a dealership reasonable cause to deny you warranty coverage for transmission problems. The federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act allows them to do so. Considering that the Si transmission already has known issues, you may get stuck with a hefty bill to fix any problems that pop up.

It's not you. No short shifter is going to fix our K20 transmission. Ask the RSX guys.

i believe the mugen quick shift is covered by the warranty because it is an actual honda factory part.

Um, no.

Not sold through the Honda dealership parts department in a Honda box = not a Honda part, and not covered under warranty.

You can get it (mugen quick shift) with a honda part number etc if you order the shifter assembly for the mugen si through the dealership. Not sure about warranty coverage in that case.

Does that say "Distributed by American Honda Motor Co., INC." ? I don't know if i'm reading it right. Also check this site out bro:

Honda set some additional performance parts for the mugen si that owners can buy through honda. It's like an HFP parts which are all covered under warranty.

hahaha this reminds me of the other night when this rsx tried to race me. and i tricked him into thinking i was by flooring it in first and shoving it to 3rd to cruise. and he floored it and grinded the hell out of 2nd gear hahhaa man i couldnt stop laughing at him. no wonder why i always see rsx's with no 2nd or 3rd gears lol

Well, I certainly stand corrected.

I guess it's been determined that these parts can be ordered without providing a VIN then? That's good news for tuners. When the Mugen Si was initially released, it was widely believed that these parts wouldn't be made available to everyone.
