I run a 2.5" right off my turbo pointing straight down.. yeah it sounds funny until I get into upper RPM.

Just run straight 3" to a thermal muffler or just point it down at the end. should be fine as the turbine resonates the sound A LOT

mine is 3" no resonator, muffler or anything... i dont have any sound clips, it is fairly quiet at idle/cruising but when you get on it its obnoxious loud. i did mine that way because at the street legals i couldnt hear my car over all the V8's. if its your everyday car i wouldnt bother unless you like the extra attention.

agreed I also have 3" everything, and I am really suprised how quiet it is you can hear the turbo whine coming out of it but its not overly bad so you can still be a sleepr on the streets lol.

I think we did mild steal painted black with dht i need to run tot he store but when i get back ill do a video for you

I have a full 3" right now without anything since I fabbed it all up yesterday, and it is loud as hell. I still haven't finished it though as I am going to put in a Dynomax race muffler after I make it over the back suspension.

i think the opinion of loud is very subjective, lol... i love it loud at the track, but on the streets i feel that everyone stares when i step on it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NC9k7...e=channel_page almost straight 3inch exhaust... all i have is two dynomax resonators..that basicly do nothing lol. i love the sound. just a slight rumble on idle. but high rpm. it screams.

my car sounds just like streetracer6rpt. I hate it!
If I could make a suggestion that hasn't been mention, which is what I'm going to be doing.
Route the wastegate back into the exhaust first of all. And if you're still not happy install a "cut out"
I'm personally going to be doing both, with the new addition of some sort of muffler, an apexi or a magnaflow 3". I really want a quiter car this season.
The nice thing about the cut outs is that at the track, or during some sort of race, you can basically run an open dump=max hp. and daily driving it's closed=nice and stealthy.
