claybar on carbonfiber

my hood is a lil dirty'i washed it and waxed it but its not like it should be;im thinking of claybaring it is it ok to do?its a cf hood.thnx

Carbon fiber hoods are clear coated just like your paint, you'll be fine.

Make sure you wax your hood after claying it. It is best to wash - clay - polish - wax. But if you don't have polish, at least finish it off with some protection.

not all carbon fiber hoods are clearcoated, some are gel-coated which doesn't respond to the polishes you use on the rest of your car..
