if i got a ls vtec obd1 motor b18 block with b16 head in a obd2 car how do i firgure out what spark wires to buy?

 

ones for the B16. the head is the only thing that would make the diff. but either will fit (18 or 16)

 

but would it matter if i use wire from b16 or gsr..reason being is because i bought new wire for my 94 gsr before it got robbed and i never got a chance to use it.

 

also does it matter if the wires are odb1 or obd2..or are they the same?

 

wires arent rated by obd 1 or 2. a plug wire is a plug wire. the wires for the GSR will fit. all b wires are interchangeable. accord wires can be used on civics (irrelevent to your issue but you should get what i mean)

 

alright thanks this is very useful..btw i see those spoon spark plug wires with the grounding cables. are these wires price close to $300 because they help in performance or am i just paying for looks?

 

some people have made just 2 to 4 (most i seen was 5)hp. i cant explain why. dont bother doing it, mostly looks, invest that money for more aggressive cams or something thats gonna matter.
