my 1995 honda civic dx__i changed the dizzy to the original and has spark, but still wont run? im gettin fuel all the way through to the return line and in the fuel rail and have the firing order right, compression is good and have new plugs/wires and timeing s ok?
any ideas?

 

did you check your fuses?

 

Is the CEL ON?

Is there battery voltage at the fuel injector connectors?

Is the spark bright white or bluish versus a weak orange color?

Did the timing belt skip a couple of teeth?

 

no the timing is fine, good spark (blue) i grounded a light to the block and stuck the postitive wire into the injector plug and didn't have anything but this light works to test fuses?????

 

and the fuses ? dont have the fuse map so have no idea with one it would be

 

Have you checked for CEL codes?

Use a voltmeter to test whether you measure 12V at the fuel injector connectors when key is turned to ON(II).

 

ok when i do that what do i do when there is not voltage?

 

If the fuel injectors don't have power, then check hood fuse 31 and dash fuse 18. If they are fine, then the main relay might be bad.

 

ok but there should be constant power to inj. and if they dont work the car would do anything right, it would just crank?

i tried to but the dizzy wont seem to fit can it go in two ways?

 

It wont fit unless u forced it in an put the bolts in, it dont take much to force it in though...
