Default Ignition switch problem

Need some input, i think i have a bad ignition switch. I have a 90 lx sedan, when i crank the car it fires perfectly but if i let go of the key it shuts off. As long as i hold the key to the on position it will remain cranked, but if i let it go as in normal operation it shuts off. Do i just have a bad switch or what? Need to go get my car from the parking lot at work asap so give me your thoughts please.

Mine would do the same thing and I went to a local napa dealer and they had one in stock. It is real easy to change a few bolts and nuts.
