Default Throttle Body spacer?

Well i plan on getting my throttle body ported, and after that i came to think about getting a spacer for it. Is it worth it, and is there much gains, and do you guys have a recommended one?

not really worth it. Port and polish your throttle body, and even do the same for your IM, and port match. I wouldn't waste your time with those obx or other brands of throtle body spacers.

I think they could be usefull for noz people. Could use them in a manner to deliver the noz rather than modifiying their stock throtlebody at all. Drill holes, tap, and add fittings in the throtle body spacer instead and use that for point of delivery. I've only seen 2 differnent setups in person though.

Yeah, I suppose it could keep the throttle body from heating up as much for another 3 minutes, which could create .0000002 HP at the wheels, so it's not right to call it completely useless :p

no its acutally not very effective for nitrous applications. It places the nozzle too close to the plenum thus breaking airflow and doesnt allow for great atomization.

Throttle body spacers came out of the world of V8's where carbs on manifolds DO benefits from a 1" spacer, usually. How they made their way into imports, I'm not frankly sure, but its bunk.
