Fuel cutoff switch w/ relay diagram.
skip all that.
cut the yello wire at pump. add 1 wire to each end, run them to the switch/connect to switch. now your done, flip switch to make connection, flip it other way to break connection. lol thats how i do it, wrap wires in stock wire loom along driver door.

Nah, I want to run the switch a little further away from the cut point. That's why I need a relay to not lose fuel pressure.
85-fused constant 12v+
86-ground via switch
30-relay side of wire
87-fuel pump side of wire
the way you have it will not work at all, you would need to do 30 to 85. Also, it only matters if 85 or 86 get power when it is diode isolated, other than that, either can be power of ground. If you do 30 and 85 together, you will draw more amps to power the relay, thus possibly ****ing something up, OR your fuel pump not getting the power it is asking for.

I was about to say good job, but can we get this resolved so we KNOW that this is the best way?
I want to use a relay too, long wire friendly, etc

wow... seriously... If you don't know what a diode is, how a relay works, and ohms law... then you should NOT be doing ANY wiring on your own car...
The way I posted for you on how to wire up your relay is the best and safest way. I've been doing wiring for over 6 years now. But I wouldn't take my word for it. Why not read up yourself on what a relay is and how it works, read why in SOME cases it DOES and DOES NOT matter if pin 85 and 86 get power or ground, and what ohms law is. Do you even know what a multimeter is and how to use one? Not bashing, just a serious question. Wiring is not something to mess with if you really don't know your stuff as you can cause a fire.
But yea, buy some mobile electronics 101 books, read up on your ****, don't take my word for it if you don't believe me.

Also, where is a good place to get the power from for the relay? and how many amp fuse?
