search x3

and while your at it you can just browse around the hondamarket place we have here in H-T. there is A LOT of stuff there and you can get it for a reasonable cost. you can even talk down the price.

and im sure i speak for everyone here when i say
WELCOME TO HONDA-TECH!

EDIT: and i think you mean 99-00. since it goes from 96-98, 99-00. nothing majorly different. just the front end.

Yeah, another main difference is the mechanical climate controls of the 96-98 models versus the electronic climate controls of the 99-00.

To the OP: besides the h-t marketplace, find local car forums to buy from. For instance, I regularly visit the classifieds section of torontocivics.com

yup. forgot the climate controls.
but seriously some parts are COMPLETELY different just by their years.
like the EM1(99-00) civics fog lights will be COMPLETELY different than the EK(96-98) and

the Si grill for 99-00 is slightly bigger than the 96-98

The EM1 isn't the only '99-'00 model and the '96-'98s aren't all EKs. In fact none in the US are.

Just want to clear that up for the OP before he gets confused.

OP, I answered you on another forum already. Learn to ID the real parts and figure out the best places for you to purchase from. eBay can be a great tool, but you need to know exactly what you're looking for a lot of the time.

96-98 front-end parts do not fit a 99-00, and vice versa. These parts include bumper, grill, hood, headlights, fenders.

That's a "no" to your bumper question.

So am i correct when i say

96-98 have the same type of bumper, fenders, lights, and grill.
And
99-00 have the same type parts and there diff from 96-98 civic

And if i was to get a 00 civic
Can i just take the front bumper of. 98 civic and put it on a 00

These question may sound but hey in just tryin learn a few things
nope you cannot. well you can, but then you are going to have to do a front end conversion to 96-98
so you are going to need headlights, grill, fenders, bumper and hood of a 96-98 honda civic. and vise versa
thats if you have a 99-00 civic and want to use a bumber from a 98

'96-'98 all have basically the same front.

'99-'00 all have basically the same front.

The front end consists of: headlights, bumper, grille, hood, fenders.

In order to fit one of those parts from a year range that your car does not match, you must change it all.

For example, a '99-'00 bumper will not fit on a '96-'98 or visa versa.
