this is one of those questions that you could search and read for hours on the debates people have over it.

what it seems to always boil down to is this.

if you live somewhere that has inspections get one like the AEM that is legal and will pass.
if you live somewhere that doesn't have inspections just get a cheap pipe (eBay) with a good filter like K&N.

like I said, if they have inspections then get one like the AEM. and if not, get a cheap pipe off eBay and get a good filter.
