EBAY performance parts?
I know, I know, you get what you pay for but $60 with shipping for a set of stainless headers,
$35 for a polished aluminum 2 piece cold air intake with filter. all with buyer protection. I'm thinking I need a new down pipe to replace the stock one but I'm kind of afraid of the quality of these
here are some examples:

Anyone have experience with this stuff? I wanna know before I buy some headers that the flange is 4-5 inches away from where it needs to be or something like that.

These parts will work. For how long?........who knows.
Seriously though..... most intakes are realy the same. You will find some the more expensive ones can pull a bit more hp. But its so minimal it not worth 2 - 300 more.
BUT, For just about EVERYTHING else.
ebay...
*cheap metal
*low quality welds
*low quality hardware and materials
*No extensive test and performance quality
*No customer service
*No warranty
I have heard some good and bad stories from ebay.
More of the good stories come from say the lights and "cosmetic" upgrades.
More of the "horror" stories come from the performance parts.
Like you said. "you get what you pay for"
Its things like eBaY that are putting some of the more reputable companies through hard times.
Buy the real deal man. Its quality and durability you want.

I actually bought an intake and headers for my 89 civic. Ive had both of them on for 2+ years now and both are holding up perfectly and can't find anything wrong with them. The fitment was great and so was the quality. good luck with it though
Dude, ebay is the ****. Its were i get 90% of my car parts, and never had a problem. hell i even ordered oil off of ebay once lol.
The headers and intake would be fine. My buddy has one on his car and it looks so damn good and the welds arnt bad at all. I would go for it, hell even if it does break, take it to a welder and u can get it fixed for 30bucks.
