i accedently made contact while tightning the nut that goes on top of the wire on the altenator and touched the fuel rail!!!! everything went out no lights no nothing, i checked my fuses changed some out but still nothing im beggining to get worried!! ANY i deas???? please!!!

 

a mechanic...or pictures...your being kinda general in your question, let us know what you were doing and why although it sounds like you grounded out the battery usually isnt too bad unless you left it that way....try checking the charge on the battery

 

take a look at your 80amp fuse in your fuse panel under your hood. it more then likely popped it.
