Default Pics of my B20 Rebuild [56k BEWARE!]

Bare JDM B20B:

Hmm....no wonder my car has so much blow by. And no wonder its hard to start up...Cracked ring lands on all 4 pistons with 16 LBs, OOPS!

Oh well...JE Pistons and Eagle rods should do the trick:

Goodbye LS head, hello Sprite!

Half Hone, Half not Honed yet:

Hello JE!:

Looks like you honed it yourself. I've always been a bit weary of this. I hope you cleaned her well! looks very promising though. I want an update as soon as you get it broken in!!!

A lot of peep use a bottle hone...it's not that hard IF you know what you're doing. I would never trust my shaky *** hands to it though, but my friend's done it like 15 times and they always turned out fine.

As long as you take a peek at the wall and make sure the cross hatches intersect at a good angle your good to go. Too steep of an intersection and oil will run off too fast and too wide of an angle and the oil will hold excess oil and make the piston rings glide which makes the car smoke.
