Ooooh, Palmdale. My hometown, I grew up there and you won't have much competition except for Eastside Muffler if you're in East Palmdale. EM is a good shop and Joe and Gabe do amazing work, but I've noticed lately that they are starting to overcharge on some things. I like them them, but it's kind of upsetting what they charge for stuff especially considering how much I've spent there already. I went in there the other day to see how much they'd charge me to change a cam seal on a B16, they told me 80 bux (labor only)! I seriously thought he was joking. I haven't ever done it but it didn't seem too difficult so I expected around $40. I was like eff that ****, so I searched on here and I bought myself a torque wrench and did it myself for $45. So now I know how to do it and I have a torque wrench now. So ya, sorry for the rant I just had to get that off my chest. Anyway, I would try and get a shop somewhere on the eastside and stay away from the westside and Lancaster. So good luck and let us know how its going.

 

Yea I'm heard of them. I'm not really worried about them at all. I was assuming the east side of palmdale was the bad part? Well I'm looking in the west side of palmdale. I might just do work in my home garage but yea thanks. Our prices will be set at a fair price & we don't overcharge.

 

Werd. They're good guys and stuff but I think they've figured out that they don't really have much competition out there. And the westside is nicer but I just don't like that part of town. Well, whatever you choose I'm sure you'll do well as long as you do good work and you get a good rep out. I'll be sure to hit you guys up if me or my friends need anything done. I try to do whatever I can myself but I still have stuff to learn and can't do everything myself

 

Not a problem. We're more than glad to help out the ht community & its fellow members. If it does become a garage @ my home then I just would like everyone to respect & behave appropriately for mine & the neihborhoods sake lol. Don't want to cause a scene either! We have done clean work & my show car should be up & running within a month or so. That way we can advertise more of what we can accomplish!
