Was wondering besides the sir stock intake if either the gsr or the ITR will fit on my b16a2 ? or can i use the arm from the sir intake with the air box form a gsr or itr , id really not like to have that giant lunch box for an air box if i can avoid it help would be much appreciated and yes i know an aftermarket intake are better but down the road id like to get a spoon elbow can someone elaborate on what i can do with this

type Ri is your best bet, gsr wont fit as well. but the type R will also be too big for the throttle body

but neither will give you impressive power gains, so why bother at all?

The B18C1 intake manifold has a different bolt pattern than the B18C5 or B16A.
Also the intake arm from the B18C1 wont fit because the throttle body sits slightly lower.

I'm pretty sure ITR may fit.

Ok....

the gsr won't fit

the itr will, but you will loose power

the 2nd gen B16 (P30) makes the most power on that engine!!

Why would the ITR intake cause you to lose power? Last I checked, larger intakes always cause a power gain on B series engines.

The ITR's arm may not fit as the ITR's TB is bigger. But it's the right shape. The GSR's arm is the wrong shape.

Why don't you buy an EBAY intake or something?

The OEM ITR intake box is exactly the same as the ones found in other Integras. If anything, you want to get the ITR intake arm and resonator box and piping. Those are the two parts of the intake system that was redesigned on the ITR. The ITR intake arm is 3" which is the same size as many aftermarket intake arms. Just clamp it tighter at the throttle body since the B16 TB is not as big as the ITR TB. The resonator on the ITR was redesigned to pull cold air from outside the Integra bay. If you take apart the stock ITR resonator, you can use the snorkel-like piping inside to snake the intake tube under the passenger's fender. You will need to custome mount the piping, but you will pretty much have a poor man's Comtech Ice Box.

If you're interested in modding the stock ITR intake, you can even make yourself a poor man's Mugen CAI. Check it:
