93 prelude w/ h23 with a crack in block want to swap to f20b...i cant find anyone who has this swap i dont know what i'll need getting the motor is not the problem...if anyone has advice i need it lol

 

well not that diffrent from what i hear to an h22 swap...exept all f20bs are obd2 so u need to convert to obd2...soory i can`t be of more help

 

ok so i know i need to convert to obd2 but what about the tranny? the f20b i'm getting is just the motor no tranny and no ecu but the price i'm getting it for is awesome...can i use my tranny and will a h22 obd2 ecu work?

 

yes an h22 ecu will work...and well pretty much any F/H series tranny will work also...but try to get an h22 tranny because of the shorter gears

 

can u explain why a h22 ecu would work on this?

 

all i know is something to do with the vtech and i have to convert my obd1 to and obd2

 

because the f20b is basicly a destroked h22...same head with type s cams...it will work...just wont be the best ecu for it

 

someone told me i have to get a tranny with LSD

 

u wouldnt be obligated no...altho it wouldn't hurt

 

Get the car tuned, if you don't have the ECU that's for that motor. Sure, the H22 ECU will work, but I'd never use it for an F20.

I'd personally convert the motor to OBD1 and run Hondata

 

just found out u can run it obd2 if you add and 02 sensor into the exhaust..

or use H22 obd1 ecu with the obd2 jumper harness...
