im driving on freeway yerterday and my cars shuts off, my abs light comes on then car runs normal, then it happens again, my cluster lights flash on and off, my radio presets erase loosing all power, on and off for about 1/2 a mile then it runs perfect like nothing was wrong. every time the car turns off the abs light comes on. abs/car turning off go along.
i get home park it, and car dies, cant put up the windows car wont crank/start no dome lights dash lights headlinghts nothing.
then it turns on perfectley, once again all my radio prests erased.

i have had some leads on this but no answer. who knows whats wrong?
has all the maintnance. plugs, wires, cap rotor blablabla.

Check ignition switch.

 

^ Dead thread but agreed, in case anyone checks this in future. The ABS light issue coming on is a red herring. More likely it's a bad contact in the ign that setting off all sorts of warning lights.
