Default Intake Manifold???

I'm doing an h23 block with h22 head. i got a book by hpbooks about honda acura performance. in it, it showed how a type s intake manifold gets an instant 5-8whp.

i've never seen how much a skunk2 gives so can anybody help out a little and tell which is better?

any set ups yall r doing?

check in the faq's, there are a couple im comparisons. if i recall, the type s manifold is the same as the usdm; the euro-r is a single stage runner. the type s intake itself is different and is supposed to have better midrange. 5-8whp is probably stretching it though.

skunk2 manifolds have been shown to gain power at the top, but seem to really only excel on a built motor; on a mildly built motor, they tend to lose torque down low and only gain a little up top.

if you're just starting your build, there are better places to spend your money.
