If i change my fuel filter in my del sol, what good will that do? And if i change the thermostat will that bring more hot air into my car?

changing thermostat can bring more hot air into your cabin if your current one is dead..but that may only be a small part of the problem if you're getting no heat.
Your fuel filter traps unwanted particles from entering your fuel system. Changing it will promote the longevity of your engine and possibly achieve high gas milage if it hasn't been replaced in a long time. It's very easy to do, just make sure that before you begin, you remove the fuel cap in your fuel door to relieve the line pressure.
