i have a 2000 em1. i just finosh swapping in my chipped p28. how do you guys have yours mounted. just looking to get ideas instead of it just being on the floor. post pics up thanks

 

i put my ecu behind the cup holders in front of the shifter, seems to be fine. stock location i some how got salt water or something in there from the winter on the conversion harness and was screwin with the car, so i moved it there now its nice and dry. 1998 civic ex

 

i have a chipped P28 and i have it mounted right in its stock position. And thats with a conversion harness and a VAFC-2 wired into it....

thats on a '96 EJ8

 

my stock p2t ecu is about half the size of my p28 though lol

 

Yea i'm having the same problem.. lol I have a JDM GSR ecu and it's HUGE plus the conversion harness.. mine is just layin on the floor but haven't had time to come up with a place to mount it. I know it wont mount in the stock area, not enough room.

 

Put it on the floorpan up before the firewall just like in older civics. You would need to make custom mounts, wouldnt be to hard.

I made a custom mount cover at my job last night. I haven't mounted it yet.

 

nice fab work. is that just a cover plate for the original placement or is that a cover on another ECU? looks like wires are running underneath plate.

 

I've always put it back where it came from under the kick panel on the passanger side...idk how that's a crazy concept.

 

i have to relocate my ecu. My stock ecu is about half the size of my p28. It just wont fit. Not even close. I haven't mounted it yet. I will place it alot higher and tuck the wires alot better.

 

IF IT WOULD HAVE FIT. I WOULD HAVE NEVER MADE A TOPIC ASKING FOR IDEAS.
